Our Pricing Explained

Medicare Rebates:
A Medicare rebate may be available if a care plan visit is assigned to the Macintyre Health clinician by the patient’s GP. A copy of this must be presented to our receptionist prior to your appointment. Fees will be paid upfront and the rebate will be claimed on their behalf. Medicare would then deposit this rebate directly into the patient’s account.

Private Health Insurance:
Since each private health fund varies, each patient will need to check to see if their current plan covers diabetes education. The cost of the appointment will be paid upfront and the patient would then submit the receipt to their health fund for reimbursement

Insulin Pump Start Deposit
Before paperwork is commenced to order an insulin pump, 50% of the appointment fee must be paid upfront. The rest of the appointment cost can be paid on the day. Failure to attend the appointment with less than 48hr business notice may incur a loss of deposit and/or a full cost of appointment.
