Meet Josh
BN&D; APD; CDE, Accredited Practising Dietitian, Credentialled Diabetes Educator
Josh is Macintyre Health’s Head of Rural and Outreach Services while also practicing in our Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich clinics. With a background in Nutrition and Dietetics and having qualifications as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE), Josh is able to provide a holistic approach to Diabetes management; empowering individuals with the skills needed to manage their diabetes and live life to the fullest.
Josh consults with and supports both children and adults during any stage of their diabetes journey. Additionally, he provides nutritional support on the topics of bariatric surgery, heart health, malnutrition, weight management as well as gut health.
Josh is proud to be a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer for all devices currently on the Australian market including the latest advanced hybrid loop systems.
“I strive to empower patients to self-manage their diabetes with the latest in diabetes treatments and technology as well as other nutritional issues while holistically supporting them through that journey.”

Eating Disorders Medicare Funding for Dietitians (for people with and without Diabetes)
People with an Eating Disorders Management Plan (EDMP) can now access up to 20 sessions over a 12 month period with an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. The Medicare rebate for your dietitian appointment is $54.60*. The 12 month period starts from when the plan is created.
